PANAJI, India – April 2, 2016 – PRLog — W.O.A International proudly announces the launch of the 7th Volume in the Goa Chillout Zone Compilation CD series. With the first six volumes in this collection hitting radio and album charts, selected for Grammy nomination ballots and several songs from the compilations getting picked up by major labels like Universal Music and licensed to various film and TV series, this years release comprises of 16 break through Indie artists from both, the company’s record label W.O.A Records, as well as break through Indie Chillout Music Stars from around the world.
Keeping with the theme and format of the past six editions of the Goa Chillout Zone which was first released in 2008, the Goa Chillout Zone Vol.7 also is an eclectic music compilation album, bringing together some of the very best artists in independent music today. Best of all, it’s part of an extremely worthwhile cause as is the main theme and idea of the Goa Chillout Zone series – Musicians for Animal Welfare, where the record label WOA Records will donate their entire share of the profits from any sales of the CD of this album towards Animal Welfare across various regions
“After the success of the first 5 volumes of the Goa Chillout Zone compilation, we decided to increase the push that the compilation series gets from the entire WOA Entertainment Group and our media partners, this compilation was our way of getting together artists for a worthy cause and at the same time promote them on a major level” says Wanda Alvares, Executive Vice President WOA Entertainment Group, “The result saw several of the Goa Chillout Zone artists being picked up by Universal Music Australia for their World Lounge Cafe series and various TV series and 2 major Feature films”
WOA Records are also continuing their plan of giving back to a cause the label believes passionately in, which is animal welfare. The company’s founder Oliver Sean, an MTV EMA Nominated and Vh1 Top 10 Artist and Producer is leading by example, by giving all proceeds from his EP, Bootleg Recordings Vol.1, towards Animal Welfare.
With the governments in many countries not providing facilities or funding to help stray animals it is a sad state of affairs for all animals. W.O.A International recognizes that it’s something that won’t be changed overnight, but passionately believe that continued support for this cause will eventually win through.
